On May 18th, 2024, the first intermediate meeting of the Financially Empowered Women (FEW) project was held in Nice, France. Hosted by Together For Youth, the meeting brought together representatives from each partner organization and covered key updates and milestones that had been achieved so far, alongside future action items.
The meeting started with introductions from each partner representative, who provided updates on their ongoing contributions to the project. The partners also discussed the social media channels management, and the full schedule.
The partners also looked ahead to the pilot of the training program, which was planned to take place at a training event in Pärnu, Estonia, in August 2024. Each partner was required to send five migrant women to participate. RNUN committed to sending an info pack with further details in the following days.
The FEW project had entered WP3, focusing on the development of the Financial Literacy Inclusion Toolkit. Alongside this, partners agreed to work on dissemination activities under WP4.
The meeting also outlined the work required for the Financial Literacy Inclusion Toolkit. The toolkit was planned to be created in English and translated into partner languages by October 2024.
As the FEW project continued to progress, partners remained committed to empowering migrant women through financial literacy and inclusive education and looked forward to achieving the next milestones in this exciting journey.
Stay tuned for more updates from the FEW project!
