Final conference in Estonia

On May 11th, 2025, Nooruse Maja hosted the Final Conference of the Financially Empowered Women (FEW) project in Pärnu, Estonia. Local stakeholders, youth workers, and policy makers gathered to explore the outcomes of the two-year initiative aimed at boosting the financial literacy and empowerment of young migrant and refugee women across Europe.

Highlights of the day included:

  • An overview of the FEW online training programme, spotlighting its role in enhancing financial knowledge and self-reliance.

  • A presentation of the Financial Literacy Inclusion Toolkit, a resource to help organizations and educators address the unique challenges faced by women with a migrant or refugee background.

  • Interactive roundtable discussions on the policy recommendations developed by the partnership, with a focus on ensuring continued support for female financial empowerment at both local and international levels.

The conference wrapped up on a note of optimism, with participants pledging to collaborate further and leverage FEW’s tools to foster broader inclusion and equality in their communities.
